My Morning Commute Isn’t as Much Fun.

We get our final look at the city before we get to start introducing some big ideas, as well as some dialog, finally.

I usually try to have some sort of a big topic to chat about on the daily, but I admit this week I’m feeling kinda dry. LOTS of great comics out today. I find that I’m not talking about them as much as I should. Being a creator myself, it’s a good idea to talk about other in the hope that they’ll talk about you.

I’d say the big ones this week would be Lumberjanes. There a reason it won all of the awards. I’ll probably talk about Tyson Hesse’s Diesel at one point or another as well.

I’m not sure about Rat Queens. The whole artist switchout thing never really works for me, and their current one just looks a little too different. (He says as his own art style changes almost from panel to panel)

Speaking of, did you guys see the top of the Facebook page? Finally got that in there.

I’m Not Excited… But Really I Am.

Finally moving through the last of the introductory material, we get a little bit of a look at what the world we live in now looks like. We have a sprawling metropolis to get to know. Not specific in it’s name or region, we at least know that it is a city by the sea. More will be learned later.

I’m not excited about things. I am super excited about things! Let’s see. Well, at any particular moment I am excited about Star Wars. I am one of those guys. I was burned by the prequels and all, like I think everyone was. At first, with Ep 8, I was wary. The lightsabre hilt is pretty weird… I’ve been burned before. Now though, i think I’m giving in to it. I caught this article and agreed with, well, pretty much everything.

Then there is this little kickstarter campaign going on. Talk about being burned and talk about being excited. Battlechasers is a lot of the reason that I am doing this right now, so I have to admit that I’m just over the moon about this one.

Well, already later than i’d like. I’ll talk to ya’ll next week!
