More random coincidences. Man, this story is full of them. But don’t all older people know each other? I think that when you are around long enough, you can end up travelling in a lot of different circles. That can result in a lot of surprising connections. Don’t believe me? Take a look at how many Facebook friends some folks have.
The other thing to say is to joke that, once you get old enough, there aren’t that many other old people left that you need to know, so it gets easier with time. I don’t think that true so much anymore, but I guess once upon a time.

I’ve been showing some of my close friends some of my favorite anime titles. It’s not their first time watching animated cartoons from the land of the rising sun, but it is their first time really paying attention to the fact tat they are watching something foreign and different.
Is Anime capitalized or not?
It has been a lot of fun seeing some of my old favorites. I’m trying to find things that are accessible but still fun. The one thing that I learned is that I have become a little bit desensitized to violence. Some of that stuff is super intense!
