There is nothing worse that I know of than trying to move through traffic. It is the price of living in the big city, and Griswold is no exception. The military presence make it even worse.

Since the war has been going on for so long, there are plenty of people who don’t even think about it anymore. It just blends in with their daily lives. They find ways to cope. Our hero has found a way to cope with the traffic; it’s why he has the motorcycle. He also seems to have a pretty healthy disregard for authority. Say what you want about that, at least he is trying to get to his destination on time. I could use a little more of that.

Finally hit the title page. Also got to unveil some of the new technology  and differences I have in store for this story. The traffic in the street is being caused by something pretty significant.

I already think I’m getting better at making things look “period.” We’ll see as time goes on. i’ll probably look back and continue to laugh.

I have to admit, I think I have already learned a bit more about pacing and making sure that I get a decent amount into the panels every half page. It’s pretty tough. Imagine you have just four sentences to tell me a complete story. That’s about one sentence per panel. So yeah, four sentences. Now, tell me a story with those four sentences, or even a complete thought, for that matter. It’s a fun challenge. I like it a lot. As you can tell from my writing by now, it’s quite a bit challenge for a guy like me.
