Off Into the City

It’s always so much cooler to be able to see an entire page.

Our young hero (we finally get a look at him) races off into the city. We get to see a little of the here. A little of the now.

We also get to see that I actually like drawing motorcycles. There will be more of that to come. The motorcycle that I decided to give to Marty is very much like my father’s old Honda. I’ll try to get a picture of it up before we move to far past it. My dad’s bike is one of my fonder childhood memories, and definitely on my list of things to see if I can’t get him to let me refurbish and get back on the road.

Comikazee is coming up again. I really like the smaller cons, and I’m looking forward to going. I’ve dedicated myself to the idea that I’m going as a young professional. I’ll have something in my hands to hand out. That’s for sure. I’ll keep sayin it; take a gander over  at my other work. Consider helping me out. It would be nice to represent myself a little better when I head to these things.

A New Chapter Begins

Both in the story, and in the real world, too.

A lot of time has passed since our last page. It’s not clear where we are, but things don’t have the seem portent that they had just moments ago. In fact, it seems kinda calm, kinda peaceful. Kinda normal? Are we even in the same story? You do remember you’re writing this one comic, right Joe?

I do remember. I haven’t gotten to do too much of that lately. The move that I mentioned last week has been all encompassing. I’m looking the end of it in the face, finally. All that’s left is to put a few new furniture pieces together and call it good.

Comikazee is coming up here in a few months. I’m seriously considering in what capacity I’m going to attend. I am definitely going to go, but do I want to have something in my hand I’m trying to hand out? The fact is; it would probably be a good idea. The question is getting something prepared in time. I’ll be working on something like a business card or a flyer on the side here in the next week. I’m hoping that I can use Patreon to raise some money toward it. Please, consider becoming a supporter!

Off to finish putting all my stuff where it belongs. See you next week!

Updates so late on Wednesday that is might as well be Thursday.
